| Tasting notes | Bright cherry-red wine with good intensity and violet reflections. The nose is frank and expressive, dominated by fresh red fruit —cherry, raspberry, and blackberry— accompanied by delicate floral notes. The brief aging in French oak contributes subtle nuances of sweet spices and fine toasted notes, perfectly integrated without overshadowing the fruit character. On the palate, it is round, juicy, and balanced, with a smooth entry, fine and well-polished tannins, and an acidity that provides freshness and dynamism. The finish is long, elegant, and persistent, with a pleasant fruity and mineral aftertaste that invites another sip. |
| Vinification | small valleys, bordering the lands of Orense, Lugo, and Asturias. It possesses a very special microclimate; the natural barrier of the Sierra de los Ancares calms the force of Atlantic storms and generates a continental climate, with oceanic influence, suitable for grape cultivation. Being in a valley, it has a mild climate, rather temperate and regulated by a certain humidity. The climate resembles that of Galicia in terms of humidity, but at the same time it is dry like in Castile, which makes it a very characteristic environment that maintains a hydrological balance. Additionally, its low altitude generally prevents late frosts. |
