The Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin is a small wine-growing area located in the northwest of Spain, in the region of Galicia.
Located in the Miño river valley, in Arbo, the origin of the winery dates back to 1862.
With 50 hectares of land, these southern facing vineyards have an average age of 35 years and are approximately 200m above sea level.
The winery has the most innovative production techniques, combined with the know-how inherited by an excellent team well aware of the land they cultivate, they produce wines of excellent quality that are present in close to twenty countries.
In the recent decade and with the push from the family’s fifth generation, in 2015 it was decided to create a special wine with a surprising personality where Faustino Rivero Ulecia signs a sophisticated Albariño that reflects the innovative and ambitious family spirit.
