Terroir

Vineyards located in a soft plain between 600 and 800 meters of altitude where low yields are obtained, due to the age of the strains and the low rains during the year that ensure a good quality and concentration in the grapes. Continental weather with Mediterranean influence. 3.000 hours of sunshine per year.

WINE MAKING PROCESS

Complete destemming and partial crushing with a large proportion of whole berries. Fermentation in stainless steel at 25-27º C with daily pumping, to extract colour and aromas. Malolactic fermentation before the clarification and filtration.

Appearance : Intense cherry red colour with vivid violet tones.
Nose : Intense notes of ripe red fruits and elegant balsamic tones.
Taste : Round wine with soft and ripe tannins, with a long, fruity finish.
Temperature : Serve at 16 to 18ºC.
Pairing : Red meat, stews, roast and semi-cured and cures cheeses.

Team led by Rodrigo Espinosa, Agricultural Engineer and Oenologist by the University of Chile. Warnings: This wine contains sulfites.
